Welcome! This is a site dedicated to endogenic plurality, or the state of being more-than-one without necessarily having come from trauma. Those who are endogenic may view and ultimately experience themselves as sharing their brain and/or body with others like them, alternating control of their physical body from time to time, and sometimes adding verbal and emotional input when necessary. Believe it or not, this is a perfectly normal setup for many people, bringing no harm or suffering to those experiencing it.

Plurality is the state of being "more-than-one", generally. This can refer to conditions like Dissociative Identity Disorder, or DID (which may be still known in some places as Multiple Personality Disorder, or MPD), but also encompasses groups such as the aforementioned endogenic systems, who may view themselves as being more-than-one for spiritual reasons or psychological reasons, or even have no reason at all. There are many groups underneath the plural umbrella, with all coming together to talk about sharing a body, mind, and life with others.

This site does not intend to nor expects to speak for every single endogenic plural or the beliefs held by individual groups; however this site does intend to gather commonly held beliefs, thoughts, and ideas within the community as well as give factual information on the endogenic community and related groups.
